For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him. Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
