Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
The fourth verse of the one hundredth Psalm: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name.” In that beautiful verse of this Psalm, twice it is mentioned that we are to come before the Lord with thanksgiving, with hearts overflowing with gratitude for the goodness of God.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
