In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
